Project: 207th Street Four Miles of Windows

| Four miles (if placed side to side) of our patented, top-hinged industrial windows were installed by EXTECH / Exterior Technologies, Inc., replacing old steel sash in this large building owned by the New York City Transit Authority. EXTECH top-hinged windows offer the benefits of operating louvers, but at less cost. Like louvers, these windows can be left open during normal rainfall, thus providing ventilation as well as natural light. Other features include the option to use as windows or skylights and glazing with high-strength polycarbonate or glass. The system can be installed as unit windows/skylights or as continuous "wings" (as large as 7' high and 150' wide). |
