Project: NYCTA Custom Metal Siding Panels An EXTECH® Custom Project

The New York City Transit Authority is constantly upgrading their elevated train stations. In this case EXTECH provided heavy duty (18 guage) steel siding panels which are identical to the historic (1904) design. The panels have raised trim which creates shadow lines that give texture to the walls. Both the panels and the trim have no fasteners visible. EXTECH has been furnishing insulated panels to the NYCTA for years. In some cases, EXTECH also assumes the responsibility for field measurements and for supporting the field erection crews. Mission accomplished.
