Series 3700 - SUNLITER DIA Monumental Skylights
 

Features

• Designed to be self-supporting (will span large openings)
• Primarily designed for thermoplastic glazing, but will also accept glass
• Will accept glazing up to 1" thick
• Finish on aluminum framing can be your choice of anodizing or high-performance factory baked paints
• Super simple connection of horizontal to vertical framing using unique stainless steel pin method
• Achieved air, water, and structural test results beyond AAMA (American Architectural Manufacturers Association) standards
• Deep glazing pockets (rabbet depth) allow thermal movement of thermoplastic glazings
• Leakage and condensation are controlled by separate gutters
• "Pressure equalized" design aids in water infiltration control
• Overlapping joinery allows for dimensional variations and provides excellent air & water infiltration resistance
• Dry Glazed and incorporates low friction gasketing to maintain good air & water infiltration seal, while allowing for thermal movement of thermoplastic glazing and reducing noise caused by the movement of the glazing
• Thermally Improved. Incorporates vinyl spacers which separate the ‘exterior’ framing from the ‘interior’ framing
• Optional cosmetic aluminum cover caps

Glazing

• Monolithic or cellular polycarbonate or acrylic sheets, and glass from 1/4" (6mm) to 1" (25mm) thick

Performance

• Air Infiltration (ASTM E-283): .03 cfm per square foot at 12 psf.
• Water Infiltration (ASTM E-331): No leakage at 12 psf.
• Structural (ASTM E-330): Exceeds positive and negative 90 pef (188 mph)
• Condensation Resistance Factor (CRF) of 60 (AAMA 1503.1-88).

Applications

• Single slope (shed type) skylight
• Ridge type ('A' frame) skylight with or without gable end walls
Pyramid type skylight
Custom configurations
Can also be used in vertical applications
