Features • These are Aluminum Framed Fixed Window Systems. • Approved for use as Hurricane Protection by the Miami-Dade County (Florida) Building Code Compliance Office - when glazed with Polycarbonate glazing. • Will accept glazing up to: • 10mm (3/8") (Series 3200) • 16mm (5/8") (Series 3400) • Finish on aluminum framing can be your choice of anodized or high-performance factory baked paints. • Deep glazing pockets (rabbet depth) allows thermal movements of Thermoplastic glazing. • "Dry Glazed" - Incorporates low friction gasketing to maintain a seal against air & water infiltration, while allowing for thermal movement of the thermoplastic glazing and reducing noise caused by the movement of the glazing. • Resistant to extreme impact or other abuse. • Can be used as primary glazing or installed outside or inside existing windows. • Improved safety & maintenance savings by eliminating danger of breaking glass (when using polycarbonate). • Overglazing/innerglazing results in increased thermal efficiency.
