Aluminum grid system which simplifies the erection of glass block wall. |

|
The aluminum grid adds great strength to the wall. Each row of blocks is supported by a continuous horizontal aluminum mullion which is anchored to the side walls. |

|
The aluminum grid is visible at the joints, offering a multitude of finish options. This results in very clean joints, unlike mortar. |

As each block is installed, silicone or pressure sensitive tape is applied to the framing members. Each succeeding framing member, with silicone or tape applied, is pressed against the previously laid block. Excess silicone is captured in the cavity within the grid members. Little or no clean up is required. For interior walls, foam tape can be substituted for the silicone. |

Each block is individually supported by the grid. There are no limitations as to how many blocks can be installed in a day. |

Damaged blocks can be replaced. Since no mortar or sealant is visible, replacement can be indistinguishable. |
